Description

[16:49:53] < Runa> is there a way to debug the "Find Bridges Now"-button in Vidalia? I can't get any bridges with it, and some users are reporting the same issue :)
[16:51:20] < Sebastian> maybe it misparses https://bridges.torproject.org/
[16:51:24] < Sebastian> it has a new format
[16:51:49] < chiiph> then that's the problem

What is the format change? Was that intentional, or something I broke?

comment:2 Changed 8 years ago by Sebastian

format change is addition of ipv6

What pattern is Vidalia looking for? It's surprising to me that adding some lines at the bottom broke it.

We should either figure out a way to add the lines without triggering Vidalia's extra-sensitive parsing problem, or fix Vidalia to not be so sensitive (or both).

Actually, the parsing was broken but not because of a format change, but because it just was. I'm not sure how it worked before.

A fix for this is in my branch chiiph/bug5370_findbridges. It is merge both to alpha and master, and will be out with 0.2.18 and 0.3.2.
