Description

Trac's domain and tor logo lends it an air of being official but, as we all know, the vast majority of its content is either provided from people outside the core community and/or vastly out of date.

We could use a disclaimer on trac's wiki pages, something to the effect of "This is a community supported wiki. Content may not be accurate nor reviewed by Tor's developers."

I have somewhat mixed feelings about where to put this. It would be eye jarring in the header, but barely noticeable in the footer. Thoughts?

I may be overengineering here, but what about a set of headers describing the actual status of each page. E.g., "This page is community content!" or "This page is developer ideas" or "This page is actually maintained!"

I would certainly like to have that or a no-header whitelist for the pages that I maintain. But if it's far easier to apply a header globally then so be it.

I think that will lead to hurt feelings. Also, we would add a "this page is maintained!" think while we maintain it, and then remove it after nobody has maintained it for three years.

I would like to see this as a section in the header, just below the View Tickets/New Ticket etc.

In the footer, nobody will notice.
