Description

According to https://mail1.eff.org/pipermail/https-everywhere/2012-April/001363.html , the https-everywhere-uri-rewrite event is not being sent by the 2.0.x builds of HTTPS Everywhere, which would create special new incompatibility problems in the current stable branch.

(I have not yet confirmed/reproduced this)

Ok, I think I might have fixed this:

https://gitweb.torproject.org/https-everywhere.git/commitdiff/37637b4e4acd3452fc5dd7cf92d125ac254b65ce

This will be out in 2.0.4 (hopefully soon) and 3.0development.3.
