TBB 2.2.36-1 on Debian Wheezy does not block a popup on thepiratebay.se:

Browse to https://thepiratebay.se/
Read warning saying you have requested an encrypted site that contains some unencrypted information
Click OK
Click in the search box
Get a popup for some poker site
