Description

Thunderbird -> settings -> submit performance data should be disabled. I am not sure what it does or if there are any privacy implications, but turning off should be safe. It's also unnecessary traffic.

Telemetry is disabled by default in both Firefox and Thunderbird.

Did you also mean that you will like to prevent the user from enabling it?

Replying to sukhbir:

Telemetry is disabled by default in both Firefox and Thunderbird.

On second start when TorBirdy 0.0.9 was installed, Thunderbird issued the tooltip at the bottom "Do you want to enable...". That can be probable overruled and telemetry disabled if it was enabled before.

Did you also mean that you will like to prevent the user from enabling it?

No, that would be a never ending task, if you'd try to prevent the user from enabling any harmful options.

Fixed. I just set toolkit.telemetry.prompted to false.
