#6421 closed enhancement (implemented)

Many LinkedIn.com pages with HTTPS-to-HTTP redirects will redirect forever when HTTPS Everywhere is enabled

Description

Many 2nd-level LinkedIn pages - links from the home page and navigation bars - redirect from https to http.

For example:

https://www.linkedin.com/searchAnswers redirects to http://www.linkedin.com/searchAnswers

https://www.linkedin.com/myGroups redirects to http://www.linkedin.com/myGroups

Does it make sense to disable www.linkedin.com by default, to avoid the redirect loops that many high-level LinkedIn pages create?

The LinkedIn (Partial) ruleset should already be off by default in all releases since February this year. Perhaps you toggled it manually at some point?
