Description

https://www.torproject.org/torbutton/torbutton-faq.html.en is outdated.

Cookie Culler
"Kory Kirk is working on addressing this for this Google Summer of Code project for 2009." Update of this?
Tor Button has not its own cookie management. I think this addon is not needed anymore.

https://www.torproject.org/torbutton/torbutton-faq.html.en#nojavascript and https://www.torproject.org/torbutton/torbutton-faq.html.en#noreloads and https://www.torproject.org/torbutton/torbutton-faq.html.en#weirdstate
Toogle feature has been depricated and is actively discouraged.

AdBlock Plus
Move to not recommend list. Has been discussed on tor-talk that it can harm anonymity.

Request Policy
Probable same reasons not to use it as for AdBlock Plus.

Better Privacy
Remove. There is no more non tor usage.

SafeCache
Sentence "If you use Tor excessively, and rarely disable it" makes no more sense without toogle model.
Mike ,is safecache still recommend for people who do not close and open firefox often?

NoScript
Needs to be updated.
NoScript is now installed by default.
Has been discussed.
https://lists.torproject.org/pipermail/tor-talk/2012-May/024227.html
My conclusion: Disabling it entirely is ok. Disabling on a per domain base is bad for anonymity.

Are there any other issues I should be concerned about?
Also needs update.

I have removed some obviously outdated FAQ entries, but haven't touched the rest. I agree that most of it should go, and since not much will be left after that, I think the whole page should be dropped, but this is Mike's call.

Sorry Mike if I offended you by hacking on "your" pages. :)

mo: Thanks. To be honest, I dislike the using the website because dealing with wml is too janky for me. Remove the whole page if you want, and purge the history books of its existence :).

Otherwise, since the sysadmin team likes wml, they can deal with this.

I shall not be held liable for website svn commit #26134 that "drops" all content within /torbutton.

I replaced the content of the three files (Torbutton Index, FAQ, Options) with your boilerplate pointing to TBB. The navigation is now the same as in /docs. I have moved the Youtube/Flash answer to the main TBB FAQ.

I was a bit unsure about the recommended extensions. I added them all (are they still current?), but left out the details to not add too much stuff to the general FAQ. I also took the liberty of adding Certificate Patrol.
