Description

I tried Tor 0.1.2.19 for the first time to run it as a relay, but had to stop using it because I found that on 2
occasions TOR would cause my Linksys router to stop returning DNS requests for that machine. All DNS requests on
the machine failed even after a cold boot and my only option was to reset the router by cycling the power.

I tried to set the bandwidth settings to something less demanding, but I could never confirm if they were set
as intended because the controls reset back to "Cable/DSL" instead of the manual settings I specified, and yes
I saved the config after makign the changes.

Could you specify your Linksys model and firmware?
Could you specify how your Tor was configured: client-only, server, both?
Do you have some Tor logs covering the period when your router broke?
Were any p2p programs or spyware running on your computer at the same time?

flyspray2trac: bug closed.
This is a bug with your linksys, not Tor.
