How about we integrate Walter Kim's metrics graphs into Atlas? The data for those graphs comes as JSON documents from the metrics website, so Atlas wouldn't have to do any complex data processing for that. Walter's code is here.
New suggestion: let's just remove the "learn more" button. We can always add better content later, but while we wait for that content to materialize, we should remove the confusing element from the start page.
Setting to needs_review, even though there is no branch. The fix is trivial, it's just the idea that needs input.
I don't know what the consensus is or whose opinion to count. "Nerdy details" would work, too. Or "Learn more about Atlas". And we could make the button a bit smaller. Or we could remove the button entirely. I don't feel strongly, please say what you like best and I'll change it.
Much of the information from the about page could be moved to the home page, with some of the information being moved to a "code" page similar to the Globe "code" page.
Once #5430 (moved) is implemented, we can display introductory information, a link to the top 10 relays and a link to the developer information. I would also like to add a link to the Tor project homepage, though maybe a hyperlink in the introductory text as opposed to a button.

Planning to send a mail tomorrow to tor-dev@ and tor-relays@ to get feedback, as these are quite drastic UI changes (though not necessarily drastic functionality changes).
