Description

https://gitweb.torproject.org/vidalia.git/tree/HEAD:/changes currently shows change files for bugs #6482, #6568, and #6601.

All three of these are bugs that users keep reporting. We should make a new Vidalia stable, and a new TBB-alpha to test it, before we can move TBB-stable to the Tor 0.2.3 tree.

This is stopping us from putting out stable Tor binary releases. Bumping priority.

I'm pretty angry about this situation, because it is not clear to me how a Tor stable got released without the situation about Vidalia even being known first, when it depends on Vidalia so much for these features. I will release Vidalia but I can't figure out how to get the Transifex translations (there isn't documentation in the Vidalia repo that I could find by grepping for Transifex). Do I need to be in the Vidalia group on Transifex? Can anyone tell me how to do that part at least? I think I can do the rest - I already built and tested Vidalia to make sure everything works.

Assigning to myself.

Please look over the 'master' branch in my vidalia repository (https://gitweb.torproject.org/erinn/vidalia.git) just to double check the wording of the changelog. And if anyone is capable of building Vidalia, I have a tarball here:
https://people.torproject.org/~erinn/qa/vidalia-0.2.21.tar.gz
https://people.torproject.org/~erinn/qa/sha256sum-vidalia-0.2.21.txt.asc

It works for me so if no one objects by tomorrow morning I'll release that and make the packages.

Replying to erinn:

Check out the appropriate _completed branch or branches from git.tpo/translation.git .
