Clicking Torbutton causes Firefox to crash with the following error:

XML Parsing Error: undefined entity
Location: chrome://browser/content/browser.xul
Line Number 187, Column 5:

<key id="key_errorConsole" key="&errorConsoleCmd.commandkey;" oncommand="toJavaScriptConsole();" modifiers="accel,shift"/>

Firefox can only be restarted in Safe Mode, a normal restart results in the above error.

Torbutton 1.2.0rc4
Windows 5.1 (Build 2600) SP2

Do you have other addons installed? Does this still happen with 1.2.0rc5?

Also, have you considered filing a Firefox bug? Torbutton is just javascript and XML, after all, and
javascript or XML crashing a browser is bad news. They might like to know.

Mike, I think this problem was likely a Firefox bug. Running Firefox-3.0 in Safe Mode, I first disabled and then uninstalled Torbutton. Neither of these actions resolved the issue. Even going into the advanced config (about:config) and disabling anything relating to Torbutton had no effect. Eventually I had to completely reinstall Firefox.

Does the new install exhibit the same problem? If so, you should probably file a firefox bug.
