Try setting 'Do not write Non-Tor cookies to disk' under the Torbutton Cookie settings. That may
accomplish what you want.

comment:2 Changed 11 years ago by ds

Yes, that fixed it. However, does that override my exceptions to save certain cookies or prevent session cookies?
Thanks for your help and the extension.

comment:3 Changed 11 years ago by ds

It fixed the "keep cookies until" problem, but it's still toggling the "Remember what I've downloaded" setting back to "on" when I toggle Tor.
Sorry for the trouble.

I believe this pref is 'browser.download.manager.retention'. It should be remmebering that one too.

comment:5 Changed 11 years ago by ds

I went into about:config and changed both browser.download.manager.retention and
extensions.torbutton.saved.download_retention from 2 to 0.
That seems to have fixed the problem. Is there somewhere in the Torbutton settings
I should have set that?
Thank you again for your help.

It should be setting it automatically now. You may have had to set it manually to get it to remember your old pref.

flyspray2trac: bug closed.
Should be fixed in 1.2.0. Let me know if it reappears.
