Upon installation of vidalia-bridge-bundle- Vidalia logs:
[Warning] Failed to open GEOIP file C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\tor\geoip6. We've been configured to see which countries can access us as a bridge, and we need GEOIP information to tell which countries clients are in.

I opened the bundle with 7zip and looked through the files. Geoip itself is there. Previously I was running which shouldn't have the file included anyway, AFAIK.

The changelog for alpha includes: "Add GeoIP database for IPv6 addresses". Well I can't see it in the bundle.

(It isn't under the admin account either)

Component: Tor bundles/installationTor
Summary: geoip6 file missing in vidalia-bridge-bundle- file missing in tor- tarball
Version: Tor:

This isn't invalid, but I'm reassigning it to Tor because the actual tor- doesn't have the geoip6 file included and (probably) ought to. Also retitling.

This was fixed in b17aa28e46d193bb0beb3a9c6fabd1df9daff6f0; I've tweaked the changes file to mention this bug number in 21b5d76aa57bec3f585634be84884ac8fbb2a10f
