Reported on the mailing list:
Starting with 4.0dev3, downloads of Firefox and Thunderbird fail from mozilla.
Downloads come from download.cdn.mozilla.net and the Mozilla rule in
https-everywhere results in the following error
download.cdn.mozilla.net uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is only valid for the following names:
a248.e.akamai.net , *.akamaihd.net , *.akamaihd-staging.net
