After some weird firefox behaviour (couldn't switch tabs anymore) i closed and reopened firefox which led to the following error message:
Crash state conflict! Please file bug report with these four values: false,false,false,true

It is obvious to me that i don't get to make any decissions here because i'm not part of this project, but the source of this error message was really hard to track down, it didn't mention at all that it was produced by the tor button.
I really wish this gets immediate fixing, because it makes firefox look unstable when it is acutally a tor button error.

(i only found out this is produced by the tor button because of a google search!)

all the best,
p.s. nevertheless... great work on tor!

Closing bug 785 -- it is the same as bug bug 784.

Oops. It was 784 that was supposed to get closed: that one was against Tor, this one is against Torbutton.

Ok, I've fixed the alert message and a couple others like it to be clear they came from Torbutton. However,
can you please keep an eye out for this again, and also try to note if any of your Non-Tor firefox preferences
seem to have gotten set to strange values as a result of this crash?

Here is the list of prefs torbutton touches in firefox if you want to spot-check in about:config:

var prefs = ["network.http.sendSecureXSiteReferrer",

"network.http.sendRefererHeader", "",
"extensions.update.enabled", "app.update.enabled",
"", "",
"browser.cache.memory.enable", "network.http.use-cache",
"browser.cache.disk.enable", "browser.safebrowsing.enabled",
"browser.send_pings", "browser.safebrowsing.remoteLookups",
"", "",
"security.enable_java", "browser.history_expire_days",
"", "browser.formfill.enable",
"signon.rememberSignons", "plugin.disable_full_page_plugin_for_types",
"network.cookie.lifetimePolicy" ];
