HTTPS Everywhere chrome makes google.cn ssl not correctly
As a special, www.google.cn does'n support https
Can we delete it from rules?
And PS: In China, gov block torproject.org, so I cannot checkout the repository, any way to add https support to git?

Woah, how weird and alarming. Perhaps we should redirect it to google.com.hk?
Emm....
I think don't directly redirect it to google.com.hk
Because you can visit translate and shopping service via www.google.cn
And http://translate.google.cn , http://www.google.cn/shihui should not be redirected.
Maybe stop redirect www.google.cn this url to https is a better choice only.

If you want to checkout the git repo from China, there's a version at https://git.torproject.org/https-everywhere.git but that probably won't help you. You could try working from someone's non-master repository on github, such as:
https://github.com/2d1/HTTPS-Everywhere.git or https://github.com/neheb/https-everywhere.git
Sunny, I have two more questions for you:
-
Does this problem occur for you with HTTPS Everywhere for Firefox, too?
-
Does enabling the optional "Search www.google.com" ruleset help you?
-
Thanks for tipping.
I tried visit google.cn on firefox with https everywhere. And it can also repro this problem.
Enabling "Search www.google.com" ruleset in chrome doesn't works~
