Description

Please think about updating the AMO page of TorBirdy to include that this addon is still experimental.

I think it would be good to add the information that it requires Tor to be present (and running). (TorBirdy does not work on its own.) (People seem to have expected this from TorButton).

I think this is being done in multiple ways IMO. The first is the fact that this add-on has "been preliminary reviewed and is considered experimental" as labelled by Mozilla. And then we have this in the "About this Add-on" on the AMO page:

"Please visit the TorBirdy website for more information. If you are using TorBirdy for the first time, make sure you read through it to understand what we are trying to accomplish with TorBirdy for our users.

To report bugs, please use the TorBirdy bug tracker and not the reviews section."

Which points to the TorBirdy Wiki (https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/wiki/torbirdy).

(I think this is closely related to #8237).

If you have suggestions on how to make this fact more visible, please feel free to propose.

We are now specifying TorBirdy's operation more clearly and on its first-run, we show this dialog that explains what TorBirdy does and what a user should expect from it.

(If you have more input, please reopen this ticket)
