A forensic analysis of the Tor Browser Bundle on Debian Linux showed that the file ~/.xsession-errors contains a Tor Browser related warning: Window manager warning: Buggy client sent a _NET_ACTIVE_WINDOW message with a timestamp of 0 for 0x3800089 (Tor Browse)”. It is worth noting that a file named ~/.xsession-errors.old could also exist.

That looks like a message from the window manager. (I made sure that TBB won't write anything to .xsession-errors itself.)

Which desktop environment were you performing your tests in?

Replying to rransom:

Which desktop environment were you performing your tests in?

Debian 6 (Squeeze) in a virtual machine.

Just realized rransom asked for desktop environment, not linux distro. I tested using the GNOME desktop manager on both Debian Squeeze (stable) and Debian Wheezy (testing).

ioerror noticed that a window title also appeared in his .xession-errors in a message like

Window manager warning: Received a _NET_WM_MOVERESIZE message for 0x4400363 (WEBSITE NAME); these messages lack timestamps and therefore suck.

He is looking for a way to reproduce/trigger it currently.
