The latest TBB has reduced the number of crashes, but I am able to cause it to crash on LivingSocial somewhat regularly. Here are the steps:

o Start TBB.

o Wait until the torcheck pages loads.

o Open new tab.

o Click on the NoScript button and choose "Allow scripts globally", then the OK button.

o Use the address bar and go to

o I've been clicking on the stop button next to the address bar while the page is still loading, right after the "choose city" pops up. Not sure if it matters, but I've been getting Washington DC as the city.

o Click on NoScript to "Forbid all scripts globally."

o Click on the reload button next to the location bar.

This is with Tor Browser Bundle for 64-Bit GNU/Linux Version 2.3.25-8. I couldn't figure out how to set it in the version field.

Works fine for me. Do you get the browser crashed reliably with the steps you mentioned in your description?

I reproduced it 3 out of 3 tries before I filed the bug. This morning, I was able to reproduce it 3 out of 6 times.

Okay, I could reproduce that one but alas not with a debug build I did myself :(

gk, would you like me to try your debug build to see I might get lucky?

Replying to thetuber:

Thanks, but that depends on your Linux system (I compiled the Tor Browser with debugging info on a Ubuntu 12.04) and might not be necessary anymore (see my first comment in #8939).

We traced this to build issues. See #8970.
