Description

If you go to the download page on torproject.org, you will see a string containing the version number of the latest available release on that site. On torproject.org, you will see ""Version 2.3.25-8", on torproject.org.in, you will see "Version 2.2.37-1".

Users who access torproject.org.in may not realize that 2.2.37-1 is an old release. It would be great if the string could also contain the date that release was made on, e.g. "Version 2.2.37-1, released on June 12, 2012".

What do the TB folks think? Would you be OK with adding a date to the wml whenever you make a release?

Sounds fine to me if it helps.

I see the release date is now displayed on the download.html.en page. Should that be on the download-easy.html.en page too ?

I'm not sure. Should it? If people think so, please, reopen.
