in version 0.1.2.19 (btw, please add more versions to the input box?)
(ubuntu 8.04 amd64, tor 0.1.2.19-2)

Btw, this information here is not private, right? this DCA64... data and so on?

Correct, the DCA64 is simply the identity hash of the relay whose descriptor
you were trying to fetch. Not sensitive data.

It is not immediately clear how this crash might happen. Do you have more
details -- anything interesting in Tor's log, can you reproduce it, how
often does it happen, etc?

I should also note that the 0.1.2.x tree is pretty much end-of-life at this
point, and that means it isn't really supported (at least not very well ;)
You should be using the 0.2.0.x stable tree by now. That said, it's quite
possible this bug is still present in 0.2.0.x.
