Looks like a torbutton bug. The message is:

Torbutton: please file bug report. Error applying Tor settings: [Exception... "Component returned
failure code 0x80520015 (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED) [nsIFileOutputStream.init]"
nsresult: "0x80520015 (NS_ERROR_FILE_ACCESS_DENIED)" location: "JS frame :: file:///D:

Jake - is this a custom portable firefox install you have? It looks
like the USB drive is not writable..

If you want it to stay not writeable, you should go into torbutton's
Security->Cookie settings and make sure neither Tor nor Non-Tor cookies
are written to disk.

If this is an actual Tor Browser Bundle install, it should already
be configured this way, but perhaps a setting got changed?

Downgrading severity and priority. We should handle the permission denied exception and
print a more sane error, but not as essential as other bugs in the short term.

An update on what exactly you did to cause this error would still be helpful though.

Was it a readonly drive? Tor Browser Bundle with standard settings, or custom settings?
Or was it plain Portable Firefox with a separate Tor?

flyspray2trac: bug closed.
Probably a readonly drive...
