Description

I help with a gaming wikidot website, it has a customized google internal search "thingy" that does not appear due to HTTPS Everywhere. I posted on mozilla for some help to figure out what I can do to fix it. The link to that > https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/965970#answer-460341. I am not sure how to make an exception or if I even can. Am I stuck with this embedded search blocked? Anything to help

This worked for me after I turned off the Wikidot rule (click on the HTTPS Everywhere toolbar icon, disable "Wikidot").

Oh, I just realized that someone has already submitted a patch (thanks!): https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/9470

Ok, HTTPS just updated. I am not sure but i looked for that patch and it seems there are so many variations I dont know what is what but i didnt see that exact one there. Still broken, and btw I have tried with the rule enabled(green) and disabled and the only way it seems to work is if HTTPS is disabled in waterfox.

using firebug this is the ling of code that is causing problems still
parent.parent.$j('iframe.html-block-iframe[src$="/' + id + '"]').height(height + 'px');

there are 3 errors now (only 1 prior)

Hi, the patch hadn't been applied yet but now it is in my branch. You can try using https://github.com/diracdeltas/https-everywhere/blob/3a0ff8ab54fb4aa58ab18e7d1ef59d02955dd643/src/chrome/content/rules/Wikidot.xml.

Note that in FF23, mixed content blocking in enabled by default, so the Wikidot rule won't apply at all.
