Description

A user reported that while using the Tor Browser Bundle 2.4.17 on Mac OS 10.8, their log was filled up with more than a hundred messages saying the following:

[Warning] microdesc_free_(): Bug: microdesc_free()
called from src/or/microdesc.c:379, but md was still referenced 1
node(s); held_by_nodes == 1

Strange. Did many other people else see a bunch of these around the same time?

There was only one person that I saw who reported this issue.

Maybe the type of Mac matters, in addition to the OS X version?

I encountered this message once in RT #13871 (8-Sept-2013)

The user was using windows 8 and also suffered from a files (write) permission problem.

It is an iMac 21.5", here are the details:

Processor: 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512 MB
Software: OS X 10.8.4 (12E55)

The user also said they were able to access the Tor network despite these warnings.
