Write up who runs the directory authorities?

Several people have suggested that we make clearer who runs the directory authorities, so people can have more trust in them (and in our choices of them).
The upside is greater transparency.
The downside is drawing more attention (and thus distraction) to nine already very busy people.
Seems like the upside is higher.
