What is the Tor Meeting?

A meeting of the core Tor team, developers, volunteers and invited guests in Montreal, to discuss plans, milestones, deadlines, and other important matters.

Week at a glance

  • Day 0: meeting invitees arrive; sometimes group dinner in the evening.
  • Day 1: Tor open board meeting; structured agenda with specific tracks.
  • Day 2: structured agenda with specific tracks.
  • Day 3: self-organizing open space: working and hacking sessions.
  • Day 4: self-organizing open space: working and hacking sessions; later everyone heads home.


The event venue will be located in The Rome Life Hotel.


We will have three separate hotels for this meeting. They're all located on the same block. They are The Rome Life, The Rome Times, and The Rome Glam Hotels.
