Deliverables

Part one: Core Tor development

First, we will fix a key short-term security vulnerability that our research community has identified and explored. Second, we will preemptively fix a longer-term security vulnerability that we anticipate will become a problem in the next few years. Third, we will prepare for, and better understand, new types of attacks that Tor will likely face as it continues to grow. Fourth, we will do capacity-building for our developer community, so we can expand the set of people in the world who are usefully able to contribute to Tor’s anonymity, privacy, and reachability.

Part two: Tor Browser development

We will make further improvements in four high-level areas: Security and Privacy, Overall Usability, Patch Cleanup and Merge Work, and QA and Testing.
