#134 Fixed Tor client install on OS X 10.4 (tiger) nickm istone
Description

I have been unable to get tor, version tor 0.1.0.5-rc, or 0.0.9.9, running on tiger. The start script, when invoked manually, responds with: ./tor: line 59: $1: unbound variable

#135 Fixed change Privoxy config file or not? nn
Description

http://tor.eff.org/cvs/tor/doc/tor-doc-osx.html states: "You do not need to configure Privoxy to use Tor. A custom Privoxy configuration for Tor has been installed as part of the installer package."

but http://tor.eff.org/cvs/tor/doc/tor-doc.html states: "Add the line forward-socks4a / localhost:9050 . (don't forget the dot) to privoxy's config file (you can just add it to the top)."

These two statements seem contradictory. Many potential Tor/Privoxy users would be unsure about whether to add the line or not. Also, many potential Tor/Privoxy users would not know where to find Privoxy's config file, which one to edit, or how to edit it.

#136 Implemented instructions for less-technical people phobos nn
Description

http://tor.eff.org/cvs/tor/doc/tor-doc-osx.html states: "Select and enter localhost and port 8118 for both Web Proxy (HTTP) and your Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS)" but few people know that 127.0.0.1 is synonymous with localhost. Also, people may wonder if they should check the "Use Passive FTP Mode (PSAV)" box or not and if that has anything to do with Tor or Privoxy.
